In other news, Lana and I watched a great, creepy, eerie, holy-shit-really-is-this-for-real? kind of documentary (hats off to Malia for the link). It's about women in love with objects. Seriously like, physically attracted to and emotionally devoted to objects.

But that's not the interesting part, they went to an amusement park in PENNSYLVANIA! The very classy (trashy), ever lovable (more of a last resort) family-fun-and-friendly (a drunk guy puked on my friend's flip flops once) amusement park! KNOBLES! If you look really closely at the carousel, there are racist and misogynistic undertones in every hand painted picture up at the top. We laughed it off like "Haha, silly old archaeic fairground ride! You just don't know any better because you're so old!" And then we read the sign

"Hand painted in 1973." Cheers, Pennsylvania.

I used to go to Knobles when I was younger, it was the closest amusement park to where I lived back then. Good thing I was too naive to realize how terribly bigoted that entire region of PA was/is.
