9:33 PM Adam: O.K.; I can amuse myself. Actually, I can tell you a joke (sort of).
9:34 PM The skin on my finger has cracked (too much dishwashing) and it looks very impressive -- a gash. It's also the middle finger of my right hand. So when anyone asks, I tell them I applied for White House Chief of Staff but couldn't quite make the cut.
